Willing to speak with parents, campers, and siblings, educating others on prosthetic technology and what options are available. O&P will assist during Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy Lifeskills sessions working well and assisting as needed during the sessions. CPO will provide education and information regarding both upper and lower extremity prosthetic care or can guide parents/campers to specialists for upper extremity care. Prosthetists also assist with the biking and running clinics of camp. Basic understanding of how to switch out a running foot including the responsibility of choosing appropriate running blades and the skillset to apply the running blade to a camper's existing prosthesis.
